Vampirism

After the apocalypse, I will get out of bed

(and take my recycling out

and make a carrot salad to stop the veges from going off again

and go down to the WINZ office to prove my worth

and promise my mother I’m doing fine

and have a civil conversation with the cat about the un-dead blackbirds

she leaves behind my door

as bribes)
